Ceramics
Tuesday, Thursday, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Ages 18+ . Be prepared to unleash your creativity! Ceramics is an excellent vehicle for self-expression and can be very rewarding and fun. Bring a friend. What excellent gifts can be made! Participants will learn how to use molds, slip and paint pieces. $21/month


Co-ed Aerobics
Tuesday, Thursday, 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Ages 18+ . This class combines stretching along with activities that develop muscle strength and offer a great cardiovascular workout. $20/month


Racquetball
Thursday, 6:00 - 7:45 pm. Ages 18+ . Learn racquetball basics, including game rules, strokes and court awareness. Racquetball is a fun indoor sport that can be played all year round. $14/person


Tae Kwon Do
Monday, Wednesday, 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Ages 6 to 40 . Learn self-defense, self-discipline and build self-esteem. Wear loose clothing. Class is open to all levels. Your instructor is Tyrone Gladden. $35/month


Tennis
Saturday, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. Ages 6 to 40 . Enoch Thompson teaches tennis rules and forehand, backhand, serve and volley. $40/month

Co-ed Volleyball
Monday, 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Ages 18+ . Register by May 2. A single elimination tournament at the end of the season. T-shirts will be given to the winners. $70/team


Men's Basketball League
Wednesday, 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Ages 18+ . Register by May 5. Team trophy to the regular season champion. Team and individual trophies to the tournament champions. Team trophy to the runner-up. Single elimination tournament at the end of the season. $300/team


Men's Power Volleyball
Thursday, 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Ages 18+ . Register by May 5. T-shirts will be given to the winners. We will also have a single elimination tournament at the end of the season. $70/team


Women's Volleyball
Tuesday, 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Ages 18+ . Registery by May 3. T-shirts will be given to the winners. Single elimination tournament at the end of the season. $70/team


Summer Basketball
6:00 - 9:00 pm. Ages 7 to 14 . Register by June 2 (extended until June 7). This co-ed youth league has certified coaches and officials. Bring a copy of child’s birth certificate to register. Trophies will be given to all participants. $40/child; $5/discount for siblings

Basketball Basics
Saturday, 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Ages 6 to 12 . Learn the fundamentals and strategies of basketball. Instructor James Brown will coach. $14/month


Counted Cross Stitching
Saturday, 1:00 - 2:30 pm. Ages 13 to 17 . Have you ever admired cross stitch that friends and family members created? Now you can create your own. This class teaches the proper techniques for cross stitch in a friendly and fun environment. Instructor Dorothy Caldwell. $16/month


Fabric Painting
Friday, 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Ages 13 to 17 . Learn the basics tips, techniques and other useful information on how to fabric paint from instructor Carol Anderson. $20/month


Itty Bitty Crafts
Wednesday, 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Ages 3 to 5 . Instructor Tony Brandt uses a creative range of projects for preschoolers that include cutting, pasting, and folding. $12/month


Lettering
Thursday, 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Ages 6 to 12 . Learn to create letters instead of just writing them. Tony Brant will instruct on basic strokes for fonts, lines and circles. $14/person


Personal Development
Tuesday, 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Ages 6 to 12 . Instructor Wanda Hynes teaches etiquette and social skills that will help your child gain self-confidence and poise. $20/month


Pre-School Art
Monday, 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Ages 3 to 5 . Instructor Tony Brant will teach preschoolers how to paint and draw. Art is all about experimenting and learning. $12/child


Sign Making
Friday, 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Ages 4 to 6 . Looking for a new hobby for self-expression? Do you enjoy creating, designing and working with paint? Learn to make your own unique custom sign for display with help from instructor Tony Brant. $12/month includes all materials


Tumbling Tots
Tuesday, 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Ages 3 to 5 . Introduce your child to the world of tumbling. Emphasis will be on gaining strength and coordination for progression to work on equipment. Instructor is Cheryl Johnson. $12/month

Free Throw Shooting Contest
12:00 - 3:00 pm. Ages 13 to 17 . August 9; register by Aug. 1. Do you think you have a hot hand? If so, you can show off your skills while competing against others in a free throw shooting contest! Trophy to the winner. Single elimination. Check with park staff for rules. $3/person


Summer Afternoons
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 12:00 - 6:00 pm. Ages 6 to 14 . Monday-Friday, June 9 - August 1, 12:00–6:00 pm. Children will participate in age-appropriate and innovative outdoor and indoor games, and creative crafts that will be brought home to you by your smiling campers. Trained, caring counselors will supervise the children each day, helping them build character and confidence while also enhancing social skills through participation in exciting, educational, and interactive activities. This program is for boys and girls who are rising 1st through 8th graders in the fall of 2008. Registration begins April 14, 2008, 3:00-10:00 pm. A minimum number of paid participants are required at each location the Friday before the week of camp in order for the camp to be held. We will continue to take registration throughout the summer on a space available basis. Registration fee is $15. Camp will not be held on Friday, July 4. Weekly fee $35.
